Driving the maxillary molar distally with infra-zygomatic crest implant: A case report

چکیده

There has been increase in the treatment modalities for non-surgical Class II malocclusion. This resulted orthodontists becoming more vigilant with extraction plans and exploring possible non-extraction approaches. Maxillary molar distalization is one such method. The maxillary distalized to create space helps solving malocclusionMany appliance were used of molars over period time. Both intra-oral extra-oral methods are present. extra oral includes headgear heavy elastics; whereas intra include distal jet, jones jigs, pendulum appliance, k-loop, fixed functional appliances, magnets, ACCO use TAD’s. Thus IZC implants effective molars.

Case Report: Permanent Maxillary First Molar with Two Roots and Two Canals: A Rare Case Report

Abstract: Human maxillary first molars are usually considered as three-rooted teeth with four root canals for the presence of a second canal in the Mesio Buccal root (MB2). In addition, lateral ramifications and apical delta of the root canal system may frequently occur, increasing the probability of leaving untreated spaces after the root canal therapy. A thorough knowledge of root canal mor...

Endodontic Retreatment of a Maxillary First Molar with Unusual Palatal Root Canal Morphology: A Case Report

Introdouction: Variations in root canal morphology pose a challenge for successful endodontic treatment. The root canal anatomy of the maxillary first molar has been often described as three roots with four canals (two mesiobuccal, one distobuccal, and one palatal). The occurrence of two palatal canals in one palatal root is quite rare. This report represents the case of a maxillary first molar...

Orthodontic molar intrusion with palatal implant: a case report

Patients with missing molars usually present with supraerupted antagonist molars, hampering rehabilitation by prosthesis. In such cases orthodontic intrusion of the supraerupted molar can be considered. There are several modalities for intrusion but active intrusion can be achieved by temporary anchorage devices or TAD’s. Intraorally TAD’s can be placed at various sites in the maxilla such as b...

Displacement of Maxillary Third Molar in the Infra-temporal Fossa

Removal of an impacted maxillary third molar is a simple and easy procedure for an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Nevertheless, complications are possible and include infection, facial swelling, trismus, wound dehiscence, root fracture or even orosinusal fistula. Iatrogenic displacement into the infratemporal fossa is frequently mentioned but rarely reported. This anatomical fossa includes sev...
